VAMFF Photo Diary - Part II

More than one hundred looks,

over 250 accessories, a total of 30 models and a 283 metre catwalk...

not a runway for the faint hearted.

The Myer in-store show was held across the entire first floor of their massive Bourke Street residence.

A massive production, repeated for two separate audiences, this runway was one for the record books, especially when you figure out the models ended up walking a total of almost 5km - most in stilettos.

Featuring some of the most loved Myer labels, including Alex Perry, By Johnny, Asilio and their newest addition - Mimco - this show was a veritable who's who of Australian designers.

Not to mention ambassadors Jen Hawkins and Kris Smith taking a few strolls down the runway themselves.

It really is the team you work with that can make or break your experience with shows like this. Such a big production could easily be a complete mind-screw.

But the right people make productions like these the most fun anyone could have - between human pyramids, models fighting over who got to walk during Beyoncé's Formation and sleepless head dressers (that would be Anthony & myself) - Myer turned out to be one of the most memorable shows I've ever been a part of.

Not to mention the beer and dumplings we went out for afterwards...
