On the streets of the City of Perth,
this weekend just passed, something very cool and definitely a bit out of the ordinary was going on.
Limousines and paparazzi, bodyguards and excited onlookers - definitely not your normal sunny Sunday afternoon in the Perth CBD - and what was actually afoot?
Well it was the first ever,
Perth City Fashion Runway
Perth is known for it's hot weather and beautiful beaches - but we get wintery too and the team at The Studio alongside City of Perth thought it was well and truly time to show the public what Perth fashion has to offer to beat the winter chill.
And they brought in some of our very top models to take on the task.
Converging on the runway from around the city these girls and guys definitely caused a scene with shoppers caught unawares and people hustling from all over the CBD to keep up and find out what all the fuss was about.
And the show definitely was well worth all the fuss.
This runway show wasn't your average fashion parade, with every look available to shop straight off the runway, cashing in on the public's hunger for wanting what they want, and wanting it now.
Shop-able runway shows are the way forward and it's so good to see Perth (for once) at the front of the pack rather than dragging it's feet behind the rest.
With live music, hot models (literally - winter hasn't hit quite yet) and free fashion fun for the whole family lets hope this great event is here to stay.
If you missed out on the fun we've got a taste of just some of the great looks that hit the runway including shop-able links to get your hands on your favourite looks!

Just because we like living it large during the summer months here in WA doesn't mean we can't make the most of that gorgeous winter fashion when it eventually cools down.
