In Perth, Fremantle is widely known
as a mecca for the arts (and the hippies).
Walking the streets of Freo it's not hard to see why, with an abundance of eclectic art galleries, hole-in-the-wall cafes and unique boutiques, it's the place creatives come for fun.

Tuesday night proved without a doubt that Fremantle's fashion designers are more than pulling their weight in the industry. With The Studio putting on a massive runway show held at Packenham Street's PS Art Space warehouse and showcasing eight of the district's most promising and celebrated designers.

Amazing images as always by David Cowe Photography
Empire Rose and Tindale would have to be the stand-outs of the evening for us. With the first adding a fresh, urban twist to their shadowy collection previously shown in September at TPFF and the latter killing it as usual with her gorgeously draped and printed silks and bringing a new focus of finely crafted leather handbags to the table also.
Wild Horses was another one to put out some amazing new looks, some of which will definitely be hanging in my wardrobe this coming winter (jacket with elbow cut-outs and oversized knit dresses - yes please!)
Video of the evening by the talented Natalie Hind for Part Blue photography coming soon.
