on Perth's fashion boutique block.
But fast becoming a retail darling among those of us who live to dress and not dress to live, is Peachy located just in Shenton Park.
P E A C H Y
The perfect place for the every day casual chic and boyfriend look style advocates to fill their wardrobes, plus a carefully curated selection of dresses and separates for your nightlife needs.
I popped into store last week for a spot of shopping and had a chat with the dynamic duo behind the boutique - Bec and Jules.
You may know the girls from their popular Perth based street style blog from which the store founded it's name (here) and - if I do say so myself - this fashion blogging background has given them the perfect perspective to know what their customer wants as well as the things they didn't know they wanted until they saw them!
"We're pretty excited about a couple [brands] in particular, being Zoe Karssen, which would be our number one and First Base which has been an absolute winner for us"
Other great brands stocked in store range from ready-to-wear by Nicholas, Aje and Jamie Ashkar through to denim from Current/Elliott and Nobody as well as new addition to the store, everyone's old favourite One Teaspoon. Keep it casual with pieces from L'America, C&M and Zanerobe.
Need something to wear poolside? They've got Prism swimwear straight from London as well as international darling Lisa Marie Fernandez
Shoes by Senso of course as well as being the exclusive Perth stockist of Dylan Kain handbags.
and that's just to name a few...
"We started ordering men's pants for ourselves and in the end we've got a menswear rack now... we're hoping to do something just a bit different to what everyone else is doing."
When asked about the look and feel the girls were striving to create for their store,
"We really think this store reflects the way people want to dress now... we were blogging for a while and styling and really noticed that the people we took photos of all loved their separates and making an outfit their own, they were never wearing top-to-tie designer, or particularly expensive or over the top, it was all just really cool, low-key kind of stuff that was just really well put together."
And their no-nonsense approach to their customer demographic?
"Everyone can come in to us, we sold some Current/Elliott motorcycle jeans to a 70-year-old woman the other day, she just worth them with a simple shirt and she looked amazing."
"When people come in here and feel like 'oh, it's too young for me' we say 'What? You're too old for a pair of jeans and a shirt?' You can wear that kind of thing to your grave basically."
And of course I couldn't leave the store empty handed, being easily tempted into a gorgeous L'America underwear set and bronze leather Nana Judy shorts to finish out the summer.
