Label Love - mister zimi

One of those labels that just,

screams fun in your face.
Simple, unfussy designs and wild, kitschy prints come together to give us

The creation of Australian-born, Indonesian-based couple Zoe & Jimi Paul, Mister Zimi is the perfect balance of modern Australian fashion and mellow Balinese lifestyle.

I came across the label in 2009 whilst holidaying in Seminyak and have been a fan of the brand ever since. However upon seeing the new SS 2014 range
"Miss Mexicana"
I knew it was time to share the love.

1. La Flor Sleeveless Tina Dress
2. Salina Retro Dress
3. White Missy Shirt & Pom Pom Shorts
4. Black Crop Singlet & Javier Harem Pants
5. Black Crop Singlet & Pina Harem Pants
6. Javier Farrah Jumpsuit

Mister Zimi x Maidenlove Wedges

This collection oozes vivid hues, tropical vibes and a subtly sexy resort wear feel - clothes that are practically begging to be worn beachside on a hot summers day, with cocktail in hand and good times on tap.

I'm hesitant to draw similarities between the range and other Aussie grown label, Gorman, but if you're aware of the brand it's hard not to notice the similarities in aesthetics.
However I feel Mister Zimi is definitely for the more sophisticated woman who still wants some fun in her wardrobe. The kind of girl who flies to Mexico for the weekend followed by Bali the next week.

shop the label here,

and check out the sun-soaked Miss Mexicana campaign vid too while you're at it
