Japan just took nerd to a new level,

but I kind of like it.

Okay so I guess we've always known Japanese kids can be a bit on the weird side, but now they've got Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs himself on their side - there's no more fighting it, the world is going to be taken over by Anime.

And the newest craze to flood the cartoon-crazy country?

Vocaloids of course.
And the most popular of all Vocaloids is Hatsune Miku.

Oh, but wait - what the fridge is a Vocaloid, you ask?
Well it's a computer synthesised voice that sings, and Hatsune Miku is a 3D holographic projection who performs on stage... to SOLD OUT STADIUMS.

And it seems as if even Louis Vuitton can't help but get in on the gig,

because if Rihanna gets to wear Givenchy on tour then Hatsune will up the ante with Louis dammit!

The only way to view the costumes in full is buy a ticket and go see the computerised opera starring Hatsune in her Marc Jacobs' creations - "The End" (it opens in Paris, November this year if you're keen).

So umm... that's different,

here's the trailer.

(well I assume it's a trailer... my Japanese is a bit rusty so it's hard to know really)

Do you think she paid recommended retail prices?
