brought with it - unsurprisingly - another outfit
The Tanouk 'Raffica' dress worn with my favourite trusty SolSana boots from The Archive in Freo.
Beginning the day were the country's best and brightest new kids on the block for New Generation 2013 and there were definitely some stand outs amongst the crowd.
So sure, these girls may be from Perth but that does not make me biased, they're just ridiculously talented!
With their trademark shoulder pads in tow and a banger of a Die Antwoord track (Fatty Boom Boom) to set the tone this collection was the PERFECT way to finish the New Gen show the highest note possible.
The Letter Q
The Soft Gothic collection from the gorgeous Doris Qiu (of Tikka Boutique, Hong Kong) was exactly that - an essentially black collection softened with feminine beading, delicate fabrics and intricate design.
Simple designs, beautifully structured, pops of bright colour amongst a primarily neutral palette. Divine zip detailing in unexpected places and subtly sexy necklines and skirt splits made for one of the tightest collections presented amongst the newbies.
A wonderful way to wrap up the week (for those of us who weren't invited to the Hello Elle closing night events... what!? EatFashion didn't get an invite!? An outrage, I agree.)
