Do I Give A Horse?

Who wins the Melbourne Cup?

Not really.
Unless it's one of the thoroughbreds I've bet on - and even then I won't know until tonight as I thought it wise to let the Boy place my bets for me due to my lack of both interest and luck.
However I do care about the fashions on the field.
And, never a day to disappoint, today we have all the usual suspects.

Wearing a dove grey Maticevski dress with a distinctly architectural feel, contrasted with headpiece by Peter Lang. Which when paired with simple, soft wavy locks prevented the overall look from being too pulled together and brought a little bit of [modern] Bollywood back.
The Myer Ambassador finished off with her trademark Dior timepiece and black peep toe pumps.

Rebecca Judd (née Twigley)

Myer's other Ambassador and Melbourne's main WAG is wearing a dress by Nicola Finetti in the vibrant kaleidoscope of hues and peplum silhouette that are seemingly inescapable of late (and which I think are well and truly ready to be relegated to the department store discount racks).
Her headpiece is a Kerrie Stanley creation and black pumps by Ballin; but the highlight for me is her embellished Pucci cuff which saves the outfit from out-and-out boring.

Ashley Hart

Unfortunately the younger sister of one of our countries best modelling exports was attacked by a whipper-snipper today outside the gates of Flemington...
No! Just kidding, her white suit is meant to be like that!
But whatever I really LOVE the belt, it's a little bit Christmas ribbon naff, but a lot shiny geometric bling and I have to have one.
Her peacock feather headpiece (I refuse to call them the F word), is also gorgeous but I would've loved to see it with a slightly more relaxed hairstyle.

And now I'm off to the Marquise @ Crown Burswood lunch and parade,
enjoy your race day festivities and more fashions from Flemington will be up ASAP
